An anticyclone is stretched from Morroco to France and will give the Northern french alps lovely warm and somethimes hot , sunny weather!

November 2011
A current of west to south west not too disturbed but carrying some rain, sleet and snow to the middle mountain heights, starting the accullulations that produce the snow "mantel" (coat).

December 2011

An anticyclone from Lisburn to Moscow, giving always stable sunny weather on the mountains, maybe grey and cloudy in the valleys. Cold but normal temperatures for the time of year.

January 2012

Normal month several snowy disturbances, sunny periods later in the month, but cold remains commonplace but not exceptional.

February 2012

Current Southwest usually mild and sunny. Some snowfall but maybe the arrival of spring is heralded!

March 2012

Undoubtedly, under the influence of the anticyclone, warm and sunny spring triumph over the Alps.
