Getting Here

There are several options on how to get to our chalet.

Depending on how many are travelling and the length of your stay it may be beneficial to drive to Bozel. The journey is very easy taking between10/12 hours from the ports depending on traffic and your driving!  We will provide full driving instructions and directions, including information on overnight hotels etc, please contact us for further help.

If you want to fly, then the airports serving the Tarantaise area are:

Geneva (2 hours)
Grenoble (2 hours)
Lyon (2 hours)
Chambery (1 hour)

All these arrival airports are served by low cost carriers from most regional airports in the UK though it is worth noting that if you are planning a weekend or short stay holiday that the timings of flights from regional airports do not always allow the maximum time on the slopes. One of the best flights for short breaks is with Easyjet from Stansted to Lyon giving very early and late departures at both destinations!!

Try Sky Scanner to check out the current best flight prices. This is a search site that when you put in your dates, departure airports etc, "scans" all low cost carriers for those specific details and gives you the cheapest prices! If you can be flexible on dates for your travel, the Sky Scanner site can be used with more vague information. For instance just enter your preferred departure airport and France as your arrival destination and a month for departure and arrival and the search engine does the rest finding the cheapest flights from your airport and it will show both Lyon and Grenoble. You will have to change to Swiss airports for Geneva details though.

Please see the travel details for information on low cost carriers, transfer options and cross channel ferries.
